Juicy chicken pieces marinated in a tantalizing blend of soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar, grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make a delicious marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Brush the grill with vegetable oil and place the skewers on the grill.
  6. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Remove skewers from the grill and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

Notes

Marinate longer for deeper flavor. Use metal skewers for easier handling, or soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
