A healthy and delicious twist on traditional pizza, featuring a nutrient-packed sweet potato crust topped with your favorite vegetables and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., marinara sauce, vegetables, additional cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel and grate the sweet potatoes.
  3. Mix the grated sweet potatoes with almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Spread the sweet potato mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet to form the crust.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and crispy.
  6. Add your favorite toppings.
  7. Return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
  8. Cool slightly and slice the pizza into wedges.

Notes

If short on time, consider buying pre-grated sweet potatoes. Vegan option: substitute egg with a flax egg and use plant-based cheese.
