A delightful blend of buttery, garlicky goodness with succulent shrimp, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, giving it a quick rinse to stop the cooking process.
  2. Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, combine butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add Aromatics: Toss in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté gently for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Sauté until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in Wine & Lemon Juice: Once the shrimp are cooked, pour in the white wine and squeeze in the lemon juice. Let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Combine with Pasta: Toss your cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing to combine all ingredients.
  7. Season to Perfection: Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish & Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with a light green salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
