Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Cool the syrup after it starts bubbling, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  3. Blend the raspberries in a blender until smooth.
  4. Strain the raspberry puree through a fine sieve to remove the seeds.
  5. Combine the raspberry puree with the sugar syrup and lemon juice; stir well.
  6. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
