Delicious and easy-to-make Oreo truffles coated in chocolate, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Chocolate for coating (your preference: dark, milk, or white)
  • Sprinkles (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo Cookies: Start by placing the Oreos in a large zip-top bag. Using a rolling pin or your hands, crush them into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese and mix until uniform.
  3. Roll into Balls: With your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, roughly the size of a tablespoon, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the Balls: Pop the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up the truffles.
  5. Melt the Chocolate: Melt your chocolate using a microwave or a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip the Truffles: Retrieve your chilled truffles and, using a fork, dip each ball into the melted chocolate.
  7. Add Sprinkles and Set: If adding sprinkles, do so before the chocolate hardens. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or in the fridge.

Notes

These truffles stay fresh for about one week in the fridge or can be frozen for up to three months.
