Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan to form a crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool.
  2. Whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  3. Bake the pie for 15 minutes. Remove it from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  4. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the pie. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve chilled, garnished with fresh lime slices or zest. Pairs well with iced tea or sparkling water.
