- 2 cups fresh peaches, diced

- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Mix together the melted butter, milk, and egg in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the diced peaches, cinnamon, and nutmeg without breaking them up too much.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
