A quick and satisfying Healthy Chicken Pesto Pasta with vibrant flavors, made with whole wheat pasta, chicken, and fresh basil pesto.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 1 pound cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, basil pesto, halved cherry tomatoes, and fresh spinach in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Toss everything together gently until all components are coated in pesto.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  5. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
