Wholesome and crunchy chicken nuggets baked to perfection, perfect for a guilt-free snack or meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground chicken, whole wheat breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form nugget shapes using a handful of the mixture.
  4. Dip each nugget in beaten egg to coat.
  5. Coat each nugget with breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  6. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Arrange nuggets on the baking sheet with space between them and spray tops with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard or barbecue. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
