A vibrant bowl packed with all the flavors of a burger, without the heaviness of a bun.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa or brown rice
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons your choice of dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground meat in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Prepare the base of the bowl by adding cooked quinoa or brown rice at the bottom.
  3. Layer the mixed greens on top of the grains, creating a fresh and colorful foundation.
  4. Add the cooked meat, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and red onion over the greens.
  5. Top with avocado slices and shredded cheese if using.
  6. Drizzle your choice of dressing over the bowl.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy burger bowl!
