A healthier twist on the classic BBQ chicken, featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in low-sugar BBQ sauce and a blend of spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (preferably low-sugar or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or oven to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring each piece is even.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, basting with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes.
  5. If baking, place chicken in the oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, brushing with BBQ sauce halfway through.
  6. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and garnishing with fresh parsley.
