Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour

  2. Add the chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic. Cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Gradually add the beef broth while stirring until smooth and thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Mix in the sour cream until well combined.
  7. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey. Greek yogurt can be used in place of sour cream.
