A simple yet delicious recipe for grilled red snapper infused with lemon and fresh herbs, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole red snapper, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, or dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, allowing it to reach the perfect temperature for cooking.
  2. Rinse the red snapper under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Prepare the olive oil mixture by mixing together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the exterior and inside of the fish.
  5. Stuff the cavity of the fish with fresh lemon slices and your choice of herbs.
  6. Grill the fish on the grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve hot with additional lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the snapper in the olive oil mixture for an hour before grilling.
