These Greek Turkey Burgers are a flavorful delight, infused with feta and fresh herbs, perfect for weeknight dinners or barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Whole wheat pita or hamburger buns
  • Toppings (e.g., sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, tzatziki sauce)

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground turkey, feta cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into four patties, about ¾-inch thick, making an indent in the center.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
  5. Assemble the burgers in whole wheat pita or buns with your chosen toppings and enjoy.

Notes

Let patties rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute. If the mixture is too wet, add breadcrumbs.
