A comforting summer dessert featuring juicy peaches with a crispy oat topping, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Mix the old-fashioned oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Stir in the melted butter until crumbly.
  5. Spread the oat mixture over the peach layer in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
