Juicy marinated chicken skewers grilled to perfection, served with a cool tzatziki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Tzatziki sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine the Marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Serve with Tzatziki Sauce: Serve the skewers hot off the grill with a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, use fresh herbs instead of dried oregano. For extra char, finish the skewers under the broiler for a couple of minutes after grilling.
