A vibrant Cajun shrimp boil filled with sweet shrimp, tender potatoes, and juicy corn, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound of baby potatoes
  • 1 pound of corn on the cob, cut into halves
  • 1/4 cup of Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot and add the Cajun seasoning.
  2. Add the baby potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
  3. Introduce the corn halves and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Fold in the shrimp and garlic, cooking until shrimp turn pink (3-5 minutes).
  5. Squeeze the lemon juice into the pot.
  6. Drain and serve hot, optionally with extra lemon wedges.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp to keep them juicy. Feel free to add fresh herbs for extra flavor.
