A creamy, spicy pasta dish that takes your palate on a journey to New Orleans with rich flavors, tender fettuccine, and perfectly seasoned chicken.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning and add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté the sliced bell pepper and onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken slightly.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, add the fettuccine, and toss until combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate chicken in Cajun seasoning beforehand. Adjust spice by modifying seasoning amount.
