These cookies are the ultimate grab-and-go solution, packed with wholesome ingredients, naturally sweetened, and have a texture that’s both chewy and satisfying. They are a genuinely nourishing way to start your day, tasting like an indulgence but working like a power-packed meal.

Ingredients

Scale

2 ripe medium bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup creamy almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)
1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (not instant)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until they are mostly smooth with a few small lumps remaining. To the bowl, add the almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until the wet mixture is well combined, glossy, and uniform in color.
In another bowl, mix together the oats, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a thick, hearty dough forms.
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, portion out the dough and arrange on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. The cookies should look shiny and slightly soft on the outside and darker on the underside.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
