Delicious and flavorful blackened salmon tacos, perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges
  • Avocado (optional)
  • Sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil, then coat generously with blackening seasoning.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon in the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  5. Break the cooked salmon into chunky pieces and place them on the warm tortillas.
  6. Top each taco with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
  7. Serve with lime wedges and optional avocado or sour cream.

Notes

Adjust blackening seasoning according to your spice preference. This recipe also works with shrimp or chicken.
