A lighter twist on classic meatballs, these Baked Turkey Meatballs are made with ground turkey, fresh herbs, and served with marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for your meatballs.
  2. Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden.
  5. Serve the meatballs hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping or drizzling.

Notes

Use a cookie scoop for uniform meatballs for even cooking. Don’t overmix the meat mixture to keep meatballs tender.
